Wat Chiang Yuen (Thai: วัดเชียงยืน) is a Buddhist temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand, located north of the Old City, about 600 metres (2,000 ft) east of Wat Lok Moli. Wat Chiang Yuen is a beautiful and unique temple in Chiang Mai that stands out with its distinctive architectural style. The design shows a mix of Lanna and Burmese influences, especially visible in the pagoda, which gives the temple a very special character. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, making it a great place to take a break from the busier parts of the city. It is not overcrowded, so you can walk around slowly and really appreciate the details and surroundings. What we liked most is the authentic and local feeling of the temple.
